Dr. Nancy Valentine knows
the system from the inside out.

A distinguished leader in the nursing profession, Dr. Valentine has held some of the most consequential nursing leadership roles in the country — including national Chief Nursing Officer of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where she led 65,000 nursing staff across 173 medical centers.

She has been the top nurse at Cigna Healthcare, SVP/CNO at Main Line Health, Associate Dean at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Nursing, and a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Reserves. She knows exactly where new nurses struggle — because she watched it happen for decades from the inside, and spent those decades developing the framework that Nurse Launch™ is built on.

"As an experienced nurse leader and dedicated nurse advocate, I will provide you with the tools and confidence to have a successful career and live the meaningful life you envision."

Dr. Valentine shared what our programs forget to teach — the importance of knowing yourself before going into a field where you have to learn about others. Her pedagogy is truly something unique and valuable.

It meant a lot to collaborate and connect with students in a situation like mine. A course like this could be invaluable — providing great insight on how to find a job that fits who you are as a person, not just what's available.

This helps nursing students feel more cared for by the school — rather than just getting us ready for the NCLEX exam. It's the piece of preparation that was always missing.
